Ikamva Youth in partnership with The Bertha Centre and Huruma Bantfu  will be providing learners with necessary tools, skills, resources and information that will assist and inform their decision-making in choosing their future careers. 
The purpose of this event is to empower young people in education, job training, learnerships, employment opportunities and entrepreneurship opportunities. And give them all the necessary information they need for higher education and employment.
The aim of this event is to equip youth with all the necessary resource and skills that they need to access all the information they need with regards to the courses that they will choose and the requirements needed for those chosen courses for when they apply, and information on learnerships and employment.
When a learner has all the information and resources they need, this means that they will have access to opportunities that will them more sustainable in life.

Online Career Guidance and Career Talk

Ikamva Youth Ebony Park will be hosting an online career guidance and Career Talk on the the 04 October 2023, where they will invite grade 11 and 12 students as they are preparing for their final hurdle of their schooling journey.
The purpose of this event is to help grade 11 and 12 learners with choosing right careers, in what interest them and to see if they meet the requirements for the course that they want to do. Through this online career guidance, they will provide the youth with necessary information and provide them with opportunities.
In the event they will be career talks from professionals from different departments like Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Logistics and Engineering. The aim of this event is to inform learners that there are other options for students that won't get sufficient results for the University entry, like TVET colleges and other career opportunities.

IntroductionIkamvaYouth is a non-profit organisation that serves young people from previously disadvantaged communities by assisting learners with after school classes and providing tutoring.
SWOT Analysis Strengths 1. The overall staff of IkamvaYouth from the founders, management, employees and volunteers they are all dedicated and passionate about assisting disadvantaged high school learners.2. The organisation is very active on all their social media platforms and they engage with their audience regularly.
Weakness 1. Not having enough resources.2. Not having enough volunteering tutors.3. Not having enough funds.
Opportunities 1. Getting donors and sponsorship from other businesses that wants to sponsor the organisation.3. Working and collaborating with other organisations and universities.
Threats 1. Competition from other organisations that provides the same services as IkamvaYouth.2. Change in government policies and regulations.
Objectives1. To provide disadvantaged secondary school learners with the necessary skills and information that will enable them to realise their potential and post-school dreams by accessing higher education, job based training and employment.2. To provide volunteer tutors to assist learners after school in improving their performance in all subjects, more so in Mathematics , Physical Science, Accounting and Languages.3. Providing mentors that will assist learners in accessing post school opportunities upon matriculating.
Promotion 1. Do campaigns to promote the IkamvaYouth NGO on what the organisation is about and how it assist the public.2. Do social media marketing by posting information, pictures and videos of the IkamvaYouth non-profit organisation on their social media pages such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, blog and LinkedIn and engage with their targeted audience.3. Organise educational workshops for the learners and host events that will increase the organisation's brand visibility.
Conclusion This intergrated brand marketing plan is intended to make IkamvaYouth organisation to be more visible, to promote the objectives of the organisation and to attract more donors.

Ebony Park's success story

Ikamva Youth helped a young women who grew up in the dusty townships streets of Kaalfontein Midrand, her mother is a domestic worker who sacrificed a lot of things in order for her daughter to escape this cycle of being a domestic worker and have better opportunities.The young girl joined Ikamva Youth in gauteng. Ikamva Youth had a huge impact in her life, it helped her academically and made her a strong student who was among the academic top 5 and be awarded the Academic Excellence Award for grade 12, 2012 by Tsosoloso Ya Africa High school. And she was selected to be part of the Urban Transformers for 2012 -2013 by Rethink Leadership, and managed to pass her matric with 4 distinctions in 2012. Getting this good results means that her future has taken a different route and more doors of success will open for her.

Ikamva Youth celebrated success by hosting an award ceremony for their top achievers learners in their subjects and learners that regularly attend the fee-free programme, the ceremony was held at Nombulelo Secondary school.The venue was packed with learners and their parents to attend the award ceremony.

The Power of After School Programmes 

A young girl who joined Ikamva Youth at the Umlazi branch, back in 2020 when she was doing Grade 10, she was struggling with her studies when she joined the programme. And the two years of disrupted schooling due to the Covid-19 pandemic, she couldn't attend school all the time, Ikamva Youth programme provided her with study materials at her home and provided her with online tutoring, with that being said she passed her matric with a Bachelor pass with two distinctions and she recieved an offer at The University of Kwazulu Natal to study for a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Criminology and she stated that she has always been interested in in investigating crime scene, this will be a dream coming true.

Ikamva Youth praises matric achievers who attended the programme in Ebony Park 

On January 5, Ikamva Youth held a special event to celebrate learners who were in matric and attended Ikamva Youth programmes in Ebony Park.The event was to celebrate the matric results and showcasing their learners matric results and collecting statuses. Ikamva Youth statistics for the matric results was as follows: they produced 66% per bachelor passes, 17% diplomas and 6% in higher certificates. Ikamva Youth Ebony Park branch had 35 members who sat for their matric exams, and all but one of them passed.

Ikamva YouthOur mission is to help disadvantage youth to pull themselves and each other out of poverty and into tertiary or employment, and provide them with necessary skills and information that will enable them to realise potential and post-school dreams, by being able to access higher education, job based training and employment.
Vision The increasing number of learners being tutored in our Centre and increasing the number of established tutoring branches.
